The purpose of MCNEG

To provide a forum for debate on issues related to the details of the use of radiation transport codes. It is intended to provide an informal atmosphere for discussions of problems as well as for presentation of solutions. Historically, the Monte Carlo codes MCNP and EGS4 have provided the focus for meetings (and the name for the group), but we have also had presentations relating specifically to the codes derived from these such as MCNPX and EGS-NRC, from unrelated Monte Carlo codes (VMC, GEANT, McBEND) and from uses of various non-Monte Carlo codes.
